Browser-Side Sandbox (Most Tools)
The majority of AllEdits tools — including Merge PDF, Split PDF, Compress PDF, Rotate PDF, Rearrange Pages, Delete Pages, Protect PDF, Unlock PDF, Watermark PDF, Add Page Numbers, Compress Image, Crop Image, and all conversion tools — run entirely inside your browser tab.
Your files are loaded into the browser's in-memory JavaScript environment using PDF-Lib, PDF.js, and Canvas APIs. No bytes are transmitted to any external server. The file never leaves your device.
AI-Powered Tools — Secure Ephemeral Processing
AI tools (Ask AI PDF, Summarize PDF) require server-side processing because they use large language models that cannot run in a browser. Your document is transmitted securely over HTTPS to an isolated processing environment.
HTTPS Everywhere
All AllEdits pages, assets, and API endpoints are served exclusively over HTTPS. HTTP connections are permanently redirected to HTTPS. TLS secures all data in transit between your browser and our infrastructure.
Analytics & Cookies Disclosure
AllEdits uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand usage patterns and improve tools. These services collect anonymized, aggregated usage data (pages visited, tool interactions, device type). No file content is ever shared with analytics services.
